How does the Rolflex work?

The arms of the Rolflex (with the yellow foam roller on one side and the dual stability rollers on the other) allow you to comfortably deliver leveraged compression on a targeted area (kind of like a nut cracker for your muscles and fascia).

Is the Rolflex yellow foam roller hard or soft?

The Rolflex comes with a firm yellow foam roller which is rated a 60 out of 80 on the Asker foam hardness scale (it’s a firm density foam which has a little give and provides a deep massage). Softer or harder accessory rollers are available.

Can I use the Rolflex if I have really large arms, calves or legs?

The Rolflex can be adjusted to fit the smallest or largest arms and legs; and the Rolflex includes an extension handle to accommodate using the Rolflex on your upper legs or large calves or arms.

What’s the difference between the Rolflex and the Rolflex Rollit?

The difference between the Rolflex and the Rollit is that the Rollit has one roller arm and is designed for use on your neck, shoulders and lower back; while the Rolflex has two roller arms and works great on your arms, legs, and more.

Easily and Efficiently Target Any Area

Calves

How to Use on Calves

In order to do this exercise, you need to size the Rolflex a little bit wider. Once you have the therapy arm adjusted and clamped onto your calf, ensure that you have the ability to flex and point your foot. After you begin rolling and once you find a good spot, squeeze harder. Find the trigger point, and begin to flex and point your foot again.

Forearms

How to Use on Forearms

To use on the forearms, you want to resize the Rolflex to the third or fourth position so that there’s enough room to fit your arm between the two rollers. The yellow roller should be on the extensors, which are located on the back of the forearm. Instead of moving the Rolflex, move your arm back and forth whilst resting the base of the Rolflex on your thigh. When you find the tender spot, apply more pressure by squeezing the handles. Be sure to flex and extend your arm back and forth.

Thighs

How to Use on Thighs

Start off by adding the handle extender to the black roller side. With the Rolflex in the fourth or fifth position, clamp it onto your thigh so that the black roller is underneath and the colored roller is on top. When rolling the device, be sure to rotate it to ensure all areas of the quad are being covered; from medial, to central, to lateral. The active release therapy is the most beneficial part of the exercise, so bend and extend the knee when you find those tight spots and knots.

Elbows

How to Use on Elbows

Set the adjustment channel into the third or fourth position and place the stabilizing base on your thigh. Place your arm through the Rolflex with the black rollers on your elbow, and maintain constant pressure as you move your arm back and forth. You can also use the device so that the colored roller is on the elbow. When you have the Rolflex in position, bend and straighten your arm. Alternatively, you can twist your wrist whilst moving your arm through the device.

Feet

How to Use on Feet

Put the Rolflex into the first or second adjustment channel. Starting with the top of the foot, place the centre of the colored roller between the metatarsal bones. Squeeze and roll the device all the way to the tips of the toes. Slowly work back and forth, and switch between each toe, all the way up to the ankle. When you find a trigger point, apply pressure and actively flex and extend the toes around the pressure. You want to apply just enough pressure that it feels like a solid stretch.

Fast, Simple, Effective.

Follow our 3 simple steps whenever you need relief

Locate your pain – Start by rolling the Rolflex over your muscles to identify tender spots, also known as knots.
Apply and maintain pressure – Place the center ridge of the yellow therapy roller on the knot. Squeeze the handles to apply pressure on the muscle. Slight discomfort here is a sign that you are on the knot.
Floss the muscle – While maintaining pressure on that knot, start stretching the muscle. This would be moving your hand if the sore spot is on your forearm.
